Day I
Muscat
Met at the aircraft. In the morning, the Grand Mosque; in the evening, the Muttrah Corniche and a dhow along the coast at sunset.
Day II
Nizwa
The fort and the old souq at Nizwa among the palm groves, with a licensed guide, before the heat of the day.
Days III–IV
Jebel Akhdar, then home
The road up to the terraced villages and a night in the cool mountain air, then the drive down and a car to the airport.
