A drive or a short flight to Çanakkale, then the peninsula with a licensed guide: the memorials, the cemeteries and the strait below.
Day II
Troy and Assos
The layered walls of Troy in the morning, then Assos, where the Temple of Athena looks across the water to Lesbos, and dinner by its small harbour.
Day III
Bozcaada
A short ferry to the island: the castle, the old quarter and a slow lunch by the water, then the road home.
