   A short flight to Denizli and a car to the terraces late in the afternoon, when the white stone turns pink and the day visitors have gone.

   Day II

   Hierapolis in the morning

   The theatre, the necropolis and the antique pool with a licensed guide, early and before the heat, and a swim among fallen columns if you would like.

   Day III

   Aphrodisias, then home

   The stadium and the Tetrapylon of the city of sculptors, lunch in the countryside, and the flight home from Denizli or İzmir.
